The Human Resource Generalist will oversee a wide variety of HR functions, with a primary focus on recruiting, benefits, and process communication. This person must be an approachable, knowledgeable resource for managers and employees, and identify opportunities to enhance employee experience. The Human Resource Generalist is the frontline HR support to all departments, responsible for assisting and ensuring policies, onboarding and other HR programs are all maintained with the highest standard. What makes this exciting:RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A key contributor to the full cycle talent acquisition process, including applicant sourcing, recruiting & advertising, outreach events, maintaining effective relationships with local agencies and staffing partners. Leads the pre-employment screening, interviewing, and onboarding process including the E-Verify process in compliance with Arizona employment requirements.
• Responsible for the management and administration of benefits and compensation.
• Reviews and reconciles benefit premium deductions against invoices and enrollment records.
• Supports Director of Human Resources with day-to-day HR operations and larger programs/ projects.
• Begins payroll process on a biweekly basis in partnership with the Director of Human Resources for hourly and salary employees.
• Build credibility and trust among employees and managers by addressing questions through compassion, consistency, clear documentation, and timely follow-through.
• Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience.
• Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.What you bring to our vision:REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate degree or bachelors degree is required depending on experience.
  • Minimum 2 years Human Resources generalist experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Basic understanding of FMLA, USCIS, FLSA, ADA required.
  • Tech savvy: Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint proficiency required.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, social media, and online job boards.
