Job Description:
Job Description Position Summary: The Human Resources Generalist
is directly responsible for the overall administration,
coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for
their location. This position is responsible for assisting in the
execution of HR programs and processes directed from the corporate
office. Responsibilities: Policy, Benefits and Payroll Develops,
recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures Reviews
time-cards, makes corrections, track vacations and attendance
points, submits bi-weekly payroll Tracks and reports all hours for
temporary staff Creates or rewrites job descriptions as necessary;
analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program
and revises as necessary. Performs benefits administration;
Open/new enrollment, submitting changes to corporate, answering
employee questions Updates metrics for monthly review of
operations; generates reports for accounting and safety reporting.
Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other
meetings, such as seminars. Recommends new approaches, policies and
procedures to effect continual improvements. Ensure that HR
policies and procedures are current and compliant; ensures
compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
Employee relations, Safety Handles employee complaints and
grievances, conducts investigations. Works with and makes
recommendations to managers to resolve employee relations issues.
Answers and educates personnel on policies and benefits Assists
with planning of company events and team building activities
Develops and leads employee engagement activities. Maintains
monthly bulletin board Completes voe---s and proof of employment
letters, memos and other correspondence in a professional manner
Supports and engages in company safety programs; maintains OSHA Log
and all injury record keeping. Manages workers comp cases. Staffing
Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary
workers Works closely with staffing agencies to maintain proper
staffing levels Writes and places advertisements Screens
applications/resumes and works with managers to interview
candidates Conducts reference checking Conducts new-employee
orientations Conducts exit interviews Training Provide guidance and
training with compensation and performance management. Offer
effective coaching, counseling, and training to managers,
supervisors and leads. Provides training and guidance to all leads,
supervisors and managers regarding employment law to ensure
compliance and prevent legal claims. Qualifications: A minimum of 5
years related HR experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience PHR or SHRM certification
preferred. Must be bilingual in Spanish Working knowledge,
understanding and application of HR principles, practices and
employment laws. Previous experience with Payroll or HRIS system
Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook) Physical Requirements: The majority of the
work will take place in an office environment. However, you must be
able to walk the production floor and wear appropriate PPE as
needed. This position is on-site only. Job Type: Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental

Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: Human resources: 5
years (Required) Language: Spanish (Preferred)
