Great Steel company in Phoenix, Arizona. is looking for an Office Administrative/Customer Service rep. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. $17.00-$20.52 DOE. Email resume to IEClerical@staffmark.com Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service/Satisfaction--Recognizing and making the customer our number one priority that is fully satisfied from start to finish with their customer experience. The goal is to make sure that our customers continue to do repeat business with our company. Teamwork--Being a team player by treating all team members with respect and being supportive of all associates in creating great experiences with our customers. Attendance-- Recognizing the importance of being at work and on time and ready to service our customers' needs. Keeps the equipment and work stations clean, neat and organized to reflect care for the customer and business. Prepares documents for scanning into imaging software. Accurately scans, indexes and files all test reports, purchase orders, bills of lading, transfers, proofs of delivery, credit applications, checks, resale cards, work orders, credit card slips, and receipts, etc. within two days of receipt, as applicable. Assist Inside Sales Department and Admin team with clerical duties as requested i.e. filing, obtaining copies of shippers, P.O.D.'s, correcting errors, finding records and providing customer service as requested. This may include special tasks as assigned by the Office Supervisor. Promptly locates and sends test reports and certificates of compliance to customers as requested. Communication: answering phones, screening/recording messages, sends and receives FAX transmissions as required. Assist as an operator back up for relief for meal periods and breaks. Data Entry Functions - Promptly and accurately proof-read and or enter orders or RGA's. Billing - Promptly and accurately bills orders and RGA's. Verifies correctness prior to billing. Promptly and accurately create new customer accounts. Maintains test report files, removing the oldest to be boxed, labeled and stored in the storage area as needed. Accurately processes payment as applicable. Able to cross-train to assist in other areas. Verifies customer resale cards. Opens, sorts, reviews and distributes mail as required. Runs errands for the branch as needed. Assist the department in fulfilling its responsibilities by providing backup support and training to other members of the department as necessary. May assist the Office Supervisor with the reconciliation of various month-end reports. May balance daily store transactions as assigned. Assist in processing vendor invoices if applicable. May order office supplies as needed. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or G. E. D. Ability to solve practical problems and provide innovative solutions. Ability to plan and organize workload for maximum effectiveness. Ability to take ownership of, and focus on critical initiatives. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively. Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take prudent risks. Strong customer, quality and results orientation. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to support and adapt to change as the external environment and organization evolves. Skills/Abilities Data Entry (Alpha/Numeric) Calculator - 10 Key by touch Accurate work, neat and organized. Can prioritize and handle multiple assignments. Professional appearance. Positive attitude. Confident. Maintain composure in difficult moments. Multitask. Receptionist skills with pleasant phone demeanor. Solid math skills. Operate office equipment including telephone/FAX, copy machine, credit card system. Computer skills - MS Office and ERP system experience.
