OR RN Contract – Immediate Start (March 17 – 31) | Arizona About the Company We’re seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a busy surgical team for a short – term assignment from March 17 through March 31. About the Role This is a great opportunity to work alongside skilled surgeons and anesthesia providers while making a direct impact on patient safety and surgical outcomes. Assignment Details: Location: Arizona Assignment Dates: March 17 – March 31 Competitive pay rates Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for surgical patients Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Assist with patient prep, positioning, intraoperative monitoring, and post-procedure handoff Support efficient case flow in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia teams Participate in time-outs, surgical counts, and safety protocols Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and patient safety standards Monitor patient status and respond quickly to clinical changes Accurately document all care in the electronic medical record Uphold nursing standards and regulatory requirements Qualifications Minimum 2 years of operating room experience Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card Minimum 2 years of OR experience Recent Operating Room experience within the last 6 months Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Current physical and TB test (within the last year) Required Skills Strong assessment, time-management, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently in a fast-moving surgical setting Preferred Skills General OR / perioperative background Experience across multiple service lines (General Surgery, Ortho, ENT, Urology, etc.) Strong communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and encourage qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
