Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Staffing Resources Float Pool (ICU/MS/Tele/PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: At least 1 year of ICU experience Description: The position involves working within a float pool covering various units including ICU, MedSurg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care. Candidate must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If a score of 80% is not achieved, the candidate will be disqualified for 6 months. Candidates must comply with a radius rule of 50 miles and cannot work full-time, part-time, or PRN with any affiliated facility within the past year. The nurse to patient ratios are established as follows: 1:4 in Progressive Care and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Telemetry. Experience with common diagnoses such as geriatric and orthopedic patients is required. Candidates should be comfortable managing titratable drips, including but not limited to Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. Charge nurses will not take assignments, ensuring effective oversight in patient care. Nurse aids will be utilized in all settings for support. Required respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow. Registered nurses will be responsible for interpreting cardiac strips, as monitor techs will assist in monitoring. Scheduling will be managed by a designated scheduler with night shifts attempting to accommodate block scheduling. Weekend requirements will be every other weekend, and holiday rotations will include travelers. On shifting days when staff is excessive, there will be a standby requirement. Unit assignments will be communicated via text message two hours prior to the start of a shift. Solid color professional scrubs are expected, aligning with dress code guidelines. Training will include general hospital orientation and specific unit training. The charting system utilized will be Cerner.
