Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,064 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Neuro Rehabilitation Acute Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience Description: Candidates must have Level 1 Trauma experience. A 50-mile radius rule is in effect. Travelers must have their own vehicles. Candidates must have natural hair color and no facial piercings. Men are required to be clean-shaven. A pass/fail exam will take place on the first day of orientation. All RNs will be expected to complete a skills lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Travelers will also undergo training for lifts, restraints, and wound care, which are educational-based. Experience in a large hospital with over 500 beds is preferred. The unit has 52 beds and primarily serves a neuro population. Common diagnoses include TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, lung transplant, and liver transplant. Average length of stay is between 19 to 21 days. Communication and personal involvement with patients and families are essential. Nurses must be comfortable providing acute Med Surg care, including IV therapy and wound care. Floating to other Med Surg units may be required. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. Charting is done using a specific electronic medical record system. Weekend shifts are mandated, with a requirement of 4 shifts every 8 weeks. Holiday shifts will be scheduled based on unit coverage.
