This role requires a skilled acute care RN with experience in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and advanced patient management in a fast-paced hospital environment. Location Position is based in Dewey, AZ, offering a peaceful yet accessible setting ideal for healthcare professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle. Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical treatments. - Utilize advanced equipment including Philips Cardiac Monitors, Medtronic Pacemakers, Cerner EMR, and Sigma Spectrum IV pumps for patient monitoring and medication management. - Manage complex interventions such as arterial and venous sheath care, chest tubes, epidural catheters, PCA pumps, and chronic ventilator support. - Collaborate with hospitalists and ICU teams, floating as needed to telemetry and ICU units. - Adhere to a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring personalized and attentive care. - Uphold professional dress code standards with navy scrubs and business-appropriate hair color. Qualifications - Current and active Arizona RN license in good standing. - Minimum one year of progressive care unit (PCU) experience. - Proficiency in EKG interpretation and IV cardiac medication administration. - Certification in ACLS and BLS required. - Must pass dysrhythmia exam with an 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing. - No employment within 50 miles at facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year. Schedule - 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. - Three shifts per week required; four shifts per week may be negotiated at regular rates.
