Job Description:
Sonora Quest Laboratories, formed from a partnership between
Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, is seeking a LAB Director for
our Commercial Labs in Anatomic Pathology. The role is integral to
our mission of delivering top-tier diagnostic services throughout
Arizona. As the LAB Director, you will oversee the strategic and
operational functionality of our anatomic pathology laboratories,
ensuring high standards of diagnostic accuracy and regulatory
compliance. Key duties include managing laboratory operations,
enhancing service delivery, overseeing staff performance, and
contributing to research and innovation in pathology services.
Oversee all aspects of the anatomic pathology laboratory operations
and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Supervise
and evaluate lab personnel to ensure high standards of work quality
and organizational productivity. Develop and implement laboratory
testing procedures and oversee the quality control and quality
assurance measures. Lead collaborations with other healthcare and
research entities to enhance diagnostic methods and clinical
interpretations. Prepare and manage the laboratory budget,
including procuring necessary supplies and equipment. Stay abreast
of advancements in anatomic pathology and incorporate new
techniques into practice as appropriate. Ensure patient
confidentiality and data integrity in all lab processes. Expertise
in anatomic pathology techniques and diagnostic procedures. Strong
leadership and management skills. Proficiency in laboratory
information systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
