experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide skilled nursing care
in a stepdown unit float pool supporting multiple departments,
including ICU, MedSurg Telemetry, and PCU across two campuses in
Prescott, AZ. This contract role requires experienced RNs to manage
critical care patients with various cardiac and post-procedural
needs in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities: Deliver
comprehensive nursing care to geriatric, orthopedic, and
post-cardiac procedure patients, including those with groin
catheter sites. Manage and titrate intravenous drips such as
Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and
Insulin confidently. Interpret cardiac monitoring strips
independently; collaborate with monitor techs assigned to PCU and
MedSurg Tele units. Utilize nurse aides and respiratory therapy
equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow as
appropriate for patients. Adhere to unit protocols including a
professional scrub dress code transitioning to navy scrubs.
Participate in shift rotations with approximately every other
weekend and holiday coverage; standby call may be required.
Complete orientation consisting of hospital-wide and
department-specific shifts prior to assignment. Qualifications /
Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with a minimum of 1 year
ICU experience. Certification in BLS and ACLS. Successful passing
of a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to contract signing
(minimum 80% required). Nurses must not have held full time, part
time, or PRN status at any CommonSpirit Health-affiliated facility
in the past year. Comfortable working varied 12-hour shifts,
including day and night schedules, with schedule posted 6 weeks in
advance. Ability to manage multiple patients with nurse-to-patient
ratios of 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Tele units. Reliable
communication skills to receive shift assignments via text message
two hours before shifts. Location Details:Prescott, AZ offers a

are approximately 20-25 minutes apart, allowing for flexibility and
exposure to a range of clinical experiences. This position is a
contract role within a float pool covering multiple specialties.
