Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care
Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type:
Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • Work 12-hour
shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 4 total
weekend shifts per 4 weeks required • Holiday coverage based on
unit coverage needs • Patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU setting • Float
to all ICU floors and telemetry units with 4:1 ratio on telemetry •
Must have 2 years ICU experience in large hospital (450 beds) •
Level 1 trauma experience required • EVD (External Ventricular
Drain) experience required • Will consider 18 months of experience
if coming from Neuro ICU unit • Strong neuro assessment skills and
ICP monitoring experience required • Required certifications: ACLS,
BLS • Must pass Day 1 orientation exam (pass/fail) • Complete SIMs
Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings • Men must
be clean-shaven for fit test • Work with Cerner EMR system and
Phillips monitors • May be placed on standby for scheduled shifts •
2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided • Care for patients
with neurological diagnoses requiring critical care • Hospital
performs cranial procedures, brain tumor removal, brain biopsies,
and complex spine surgeries Facility: This major healthcare
