Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Required Skills/Experience: - Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (traveler has 2 attempts; if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region). - RNs in Telemetry Unit are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. - Must be able to interpret EKG. - Expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes (pass/fail, nurses have been termed for breaking sterile field). - Competent in Heparin, Amio, Cardizem titration. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Neuro experience is a plus. Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 8 weeks. - Holidays: Worked into perm holiday rotation. Floating Requirements: - Float to cardiac tele, tele overflow in ICU, medsurg. Other Requirements: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027.
