Job Description Optometrist - Kirkland, WA Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday | No Weekends Typical Work Hours: 8:40 AM - 5:15 PM Setting: Specialty Optometry / Medical Eye Care Job Summary We are seeking a patient-focused Optometrist to join a quality-driven specialty eye care practice. This role emphasizes medically focused optometry, advanced diagnostics, and personalized patient care rather than high-volume refraction. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical excellence, patient education, and collaborative care. Roles and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive medical eye examinations with a strong focus on patient education Diagnose and manage dry eye disease using advanced diagnostics and in-office treatments Evaluate and manage myopia progression and binocular vision conditions Fit and manage specialty contact lenses, including scleral, ortho-K, and custom lenses Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and other providers to deliver high-quality care Maintain accurate EHR documentation and coordinate referrals as needed Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active state optometry license Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Comfort with medical and speciality eye care Speciality experience preferred but not required (mentorship available) Benefits All Standard benefits are covered!
