Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Registered Nurse position is available within a K-8 school setting in the Avondale, AZ area. This contract role supports the health and well-being of students as the sole nurse on site. The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, with an early release on Wednesday at 2 PM. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first aid and manage illness and injury care for students. - Administer medications and implement health plans. - Conduct health screenings and assessments. - Communicate with parents, staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs. - Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health regulations. Qualifications: - Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card. - Active CPR/BLS certification. - Experience in school nursing preferred. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
