Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,289 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Coronary Care ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: BSN required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must have Level I Trauma experience Description: The role requires ICU RN experience with cardiac patient management. Candidates must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, with two attempts allowed. Travelers must have their own vehicles. Natural hair color is required, and facial piercings are not permitted. Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing. All RNs will be expected to complete a skills assessment in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes on Day 1. Competence in maintaining a sterile field is crucial for passing the skills assessment. Strong IV skills are required, as there is no dedicated IV team. The unit has a high patient acuity level and frequently performs bedside procedures. Travelers may be required to float to other units. Work schedule includes three weekend shifts over a four-week period and holidays as part of the shift rotation. Patient care ratio is 1:1 to 2, with a high number of 1:1 assignments. Common patient diagnoses include cardiac surgery recovery, various advanced cardiac support scenarios, and thoracic surgeries.
