We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This full-time assignment will provide coverage for maternity leave, offering a great chance to work in a dynamic, supportive outpatient setting. Key Highlights: Location: Near Glendale, CA Assignment Dates: January 1, 2025 ??? April 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM ??? 5:00 PM Practice Setting: Outpatient only ??? no inpatient work or hospital privileges required. Patients Per Shift: Approximately 23 per day. Clinical Requirements: Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Certifications: Active California medical license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills Required: Low- and high-risk pregnancies Routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections Procedures like FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsies Minor gynecological procedures: IUD placements, colposcopy, and cryosurgery Laparoscopic and open surgical gynecology Additional Information: Support Team: Includes RNs, MAs, PAs, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.
