Locum Tenens Opportunity: Urologist Near Black Canyon City, AZ We are seeking a dedicated Urologist for a locum tenens position near Black Canyon City, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible physician to join a busy urology practice. The position is available ASAP and will be ongoing, offering stability and flexibility for the right candidate. Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Shift Details: Full-time coverage required Standard shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Occasional on-call coverage required Flexible scheduling options available, including full-time or two weeks per month Work Details: Practice Setting: Hospital-based practice Support staff includes 1 PA and assigned medical assistants (MAs) No other MDs on staff Doctor will conduct phone interviews as part of the hiring process Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day in the clinic 10-15 procedures per week 3-4 surgeries per day in the operating room (OR) Procedures: General urology procedures, including in-clinic vasectomy and infant circumcision (outpatient, not required) No robotics required Disposable flexible stethoscopes are used in the clinic Hospital Details: 99-bed facility EMR system: Cerner Call Coverage: Occasional on-call coverage required, with flexibility depending on availability Requirements: Board Certification: Urology (BC or BE) Licensure: Active Arizona license required; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) accepted Certifications: DEA required No CSR required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in urology Preferred experience with Cerner EMR system This locum tenens role near Black Canyon City, AZ, provides a unique opportunity to practice urology in a supportive, well-resourced environment.
