Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,096 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position ID: 75104788 Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage Description: Unit Notes:MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXP50 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL RATE - DL IS SOURCE OF TRUTH, PLEASE INCLUDE IN SUBMISSIONMedical Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends, sends to manager for approval to offer, no 2nd interviewmust pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region*Travel Teams must have their own vehicles*must have natural hair color and no facial piercings*men must clean shave for fit test*pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation - details to followDAY 1 PASS/FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass/fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit. In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care, but these are just educational based since the equipment & policies can be different facility to facility. Must be able to Titrate drips, Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin Drips Unit: Neuro Tele (5NNB and 7NNB)- beds: 32- Certs: BLS, ACLS, 2 years experience, neuro experience highly preferred.- Ratios: 1:4 ratio- EMR: Cerner. WOWs- Charge Nurse: Yes, take light patient assignment.- Nurse Aides: Day - 4, Night - 3. BS, VS, straight cath.- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 8 weeks.- Holidays: Worked into perm holiday rotation.- Scrub Color: Steel gray- Tele: Central monitoring. Must be able to interpret EKG- Vents: No- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No- IV Team: SWAT RN available for difficult IV sticks.- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, central- Shifts: 7 to 7- Floating: Float to tele units, tele overflow in ICU,- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trached patients, CVA, TBI, Spinal surgery, encephopathy, ESRD, psych issues, brain tumor.- Additional Notes: Heparin, Amio, Cardizem - titrated. LOS average 4-5 days. Fast paced, high turn around unit. Bedside report.
