Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Phoenix, Arizona,
85013! Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: At least 6 months of
trauma Level 1 experience Description: The unit is a fast-paced
emergency room. The facility has 36 acute and 54 subacute beds.
There are 6 trauma bays. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. All RNs
will be expected to complete skills assessments in Foley catheter
insertion and central line dressing changes. Nurses who understand
maintaining a sterile field typically pass skills assessments.
Additional training includes lifts, restraints, and wound care
protocols. Common diagnoses include trauma, burns, and pediatric
patients transferred out. The facility manages around 88,000
patients annually, averaging 250-300 patients per day. Psychiatric
holds are also part of the unit's responsibilities. Weekend
commitments include working 4 shifts per month. The shift includes
a mix of clinical responsibilities and teamwork with various
healthcare professionals. Certified staff includes pharmacists
available 10 hours a day and respiratory therapists on-site 24/7.
This position requires adaptability to various scenarios in the
emergency setting. A clean professional appearance is expected,
including natural hair color and no facial piercings. Nurses are
responsible for effective communication and collaboration with team
members to ensure high-quality patient care. The charting system
utilized is Cerner. A thorough understanding of telemetry and the
