Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery for a nursing job in Wagon Wheel, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff About the Role: We’re looking for a confident, skilled Labor & Delivery RN who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll provide comprehensive care to patients through all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This unit values independence, strong communication, and exceptional clinical judgment — especially in managing OB emergencies until the provider arrives. Schedule: - Shifts: 6a–6p (Days) or 6p–6a (Nights) - Call Requirement: One shift per 4-week schedule Experience Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (3 preferred) - C-section experience required - Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and appropriate interventions for fetal distress - Must have experience managing pre-eclampsia and high-risk OB patients - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential due to no in-house OB coverage - Must be able to provide care across L&D and couplet care (LDRP environment) Required Licenses/Certifications: - Current RN license to work in Arizona - ACLS - BLS - NRP - Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring 987774 About Medical Solutions Direct Hire At Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
