Job Summary and Responsibilities Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a PRN physician for our multidisciplinary Infectious Disease service line in its flagship location of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8a- 5p Provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students Be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellent care for all patients Job Requirements A passion for providing clinically excellent care MD or DO degree Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program and an Adult Infectious Disease fellowship Active/Eligibile board certification Internal Medicine / Infectious Disease Must have or be eligible for an AZ State medical license Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Creighton School of Medicine: For more than a decade, Creighton has had an academic presence in Phoenix, sending medical students to Dignity Health SJHMC for clinical rotations. That relationship expanded in 2009 when the University and St. Joseph's formally established a Creighton campus for third and fourth year students. In 2018, it was announced that Creighton would expand once again, this time opening a full four-year medical school campus in Phoenix to become the largest Catholic health professions educator in the nation. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
