Job Summary and Responsibilities We are looking for a Full Time Nocturnist to join our team! 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents/interns in the team. Average admissions 17/night for the whole team. Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out! In the top bar "Academic Opportunity", we should change it from NO to YES. Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix. Collaborative and cohesive hospitalist team with near 100% retention rate and exponential growth. Cerner EMR links all of our outpatient and inpatient facilities. Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; ventilator management, procedures, running codes not required.
