Description: PACU Nurses are expert communicators and
collaborators. They work alongside the physician, other RNs, and
medical staff, keeping them informed of any changing circumstances
during the patient’s recovery. They are also responsible for
communicating with the patient and their family on proper post-op
care, such as when to take medications and what to do if they

PACU Nurses aide in the recovery of patients that have undergone
