Job Description:
Responsibilities The responsibilities of the position include
inpatient consults, clinic and procedures including robotic
bronchoscopy. This is a pure interventional pulmonology position
with no expectation to cover ICU or to build a general pulmonology
practice at the same time. Qualifications - MD or DO Degree - ABIM
certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine - AABIP certified
or eligible in Interventional Pulmonary - Completed ACGME Residency
training with current ABMS Board Certification - Ability to achieve
full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity
Health Arizona hospitals - Must obtain Arizona State medical
licensure prior to starting the position (we will assist with the
process for those coming out of fellowship training) Supervision:
The interventional pulmonologist will provide supervision to nurse
practitioners and rotating learners. Educational and Research
Policy: The interventional pulmonologist will participate in
clinical education of medical students and residents from Creighton
University Health Sciences Campus - Phoenix. Clinical and bench
research is strongly supported and desired. Academic Appointments:
Assistant, Associate or Full Professor with Creighton University
