Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months. • 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Additional Details: An interview may not be available prior to offer. ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to. No block scheduling. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. 36 Guaranteed Hours 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks scheduled. 2/3 major holidays. TELE experience has been added as a requirement to this position because travelers will float to other MS Tele units candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts, if they fail, DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months Scrub Color: Navy Floating: Observation, VMU, T6, T5, 6N, 5N MedSurg, all MS and Tele units Common diagnosis / Types of patients: transplants post op day 1, whipples, spine, ortho joints mostly, trauma Additional Notes: Large amount of transplant and whipple. Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
