Trauma ICU DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and
Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a

adult population each "dedicated" unit consists of 32-beds and
offers an exciting challenging opportunity for nurses to care for
the very highest acuity patients in a 1:2 or 1:1 nurse to patient
ratio. All units report to one Nurse Manager; nurses are hired
specifically for each unit yet have an opportunity to cross train.
- 24/7 Operational hours. - ACS Accredited Level 1 Trauma Center. -
1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio. - Medical Surgical Trauma ICU. - Certified
to perform Kidney Transplants. - National Leader in the care of
Pulmonary Hypertension patients. - Active Commitment to Research. -
State of the Art equipment. - Self-Scheduling. Position Summary:
Assess patient/family health problems and resources taking a
leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes
evaluation of a plan for nursing care. - Provides professional
nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient
populations. - Position requires providing service to one or more
age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a
manner that demonstrates an understanding of the
functional/developmental age of the individual served. - Position
requires the full understanding and active participation in
fulfilling the Mission of the organization. - It is expected that
the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

accredited school of nursing. - AZ RN license or RN License from a
Compact State. - One year recent acute care experience. - American
Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. - Excellent
written and interpersonal communication skills. - Basic Computer
