  • A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Medical-Surgical RN's for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have two years of experience (rehab experience is a plus).
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active BLS.
    • AZ license or compact required.
    • LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
    • Basic Dysrhythmia Exam Required PRIOR to sending the contract.
    • 2 attempts for the Basic Dysrhythmia Exam, if failed, candidate is DNU with CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months.

      • Techs - Start times 630a, 3p, 1130p.
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in an 8 week period.

          • Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts.
          • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 90% neuro population, low stimulation area, TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, lung transplant, liver transplant.
          • Busy times: 6-9a, 630-9p.
          • Interdisciplinary team rounds.
          • 5/7 days, 3hrs per day therapy.
          • Average LOS 19-21 days.
          • Nurses need to be comfortable with high level of communication and personal involvement with patients and family.
          • Partnership of care.
          • Acute MedSurg care (IV therapy, wounds, etc.);
          • 12 hour nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays
