JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Support Resource. The ideal candidate will support high-quality, patient-centered care by providing guidance and mentoring to new graduate nurses and nurses transitioning to our healthcare system. This role involves offering feedback, supporting all clinical med/surg/telemetry units, and ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs patient acuity assessments and intervenes as necessary
• Identifies nursing educational needs and acts as a resource for new nurses
• Serves as a positive professional role model and exhibits clinical leadership
• Coordinates care delivery, develops educational information, and empowers patient teaching
• Assists patient care staff, serves as a clinical resource, and leads practice changes
• Practices ethically, integrates evidence and research findings into practice, and fosters shared decision making
• Communicates effectively, demonstrates leadership, and utilizes appropriate resources to provide safe and effective nursing services EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care or nurse educator experience
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
