Overview
Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed
physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical
Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support
staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group
has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides
more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical
services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal
academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily
involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84
medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows
throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are
complemented with translational and bench research to augment
medical education for residents and students. The mission of

Responsibilities
SUMMARY - In collaboration with the physician/medical director
assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within Nurse
Practitioner's scope of practice. Including: taking patient's
history performing physical examinations ordering appropriate
diagnostic tests establishing diagnosis and provide care and
management for common illnesses and disease prevention in the
pediatric and adult patient. The NP may assist in the admission
transfer or discharge from Health Care System. Makes appropriate
referrals to specialists and community agencies. Participates in
quality assurance and quality improvement program. Works within
multidisciplinary team to develop plan for the patient and their
family. In addition to the routine duties of detailed in NP scope
of practice the in-patient specialty NP will provide care and
management for acutely ill patients respond to emergency situations
and may also see patients in the intensive care units. Also
responsible for the management of the standards of care quality
national certifications and representation to key stakeholders for
the specialty program.
Qualifications
MINIMUMThree years clinical experience in area of specialtyMaster's
in nursing Graduate of accredited program for nurse
practitioners.AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact
StateRegistered in AZ as nurse practitioner. Hold and maintain
national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations. American
Heart Association BCLS and ACLS Specialty certification when
applicable; acceptable if obtained within the first 18months.CT
ACLS;CT NP;RN;CT CPRBLS
Pay Range
$49.20 - $71.34/hour
