Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Bring your passion for neurology, oncology and patient care to the outpatient infusion center at Barrow Neuroplex Infusion Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. As a pharmacy technician you will be part of a growing program on the forefront of neurology and cancer treatment. We are looking for someone that is a great communicator, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to problem solve through critical thinking. -

Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a pharmacist. - They perform drug distribution activities including: servicing Omnicell machines and delivering medications to the clinics and infusion suite. - They also perform sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications, including hazardous drugs, following USP , USP and USP . - Pharmacy technicians will be cross-trained to work in all areas of outpatient and hospital infusion.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
One year work experience in hospital or infusion pharmacy practice
Pharmacy Technician certification
Registered Pharmacy Technician in State of Arizona

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with handling and dispensing of parenteral chemotherapy
Experience with investigational protocols and medications
