Our Department of Anesthesiology is searchingfor a full time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist for our clinicalpractice. We are a community based, University affiliated teaching facility,with ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 PediatricTrauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Requirements: MD or DOdegree, Arizona License, Fellowship Trained Benefits: 4 weeks paid time off 1 week CME time off with CME stipend 10 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance, long term disability, AD&D insurance 401K plan with up to 6 percent employer match Paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage Details: Theclinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery,general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level Itrauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR.TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative andcritical care patients. About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year.In-house call is 4-5 times per month. The position requires flexibility,excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult andpediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine andsurgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students. Thisteaching exposure creates opportunity for our physicians to apply to ouruniversity affiliations for academic appointment.
