An award winning 300 bed Phoenix Metropolitan Area Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Director Medical Surgical Telemetry.The Nurse Director of Telemetry Services will operate a bustling unit, which sees patients from geriatric to pediatric with a wide range of acuity scales. The Nurse Director will oversee the care of patients post extreme traumatic experiences, recovering from strokes and cardiovascular surgery.The Nurse Director Direct Observation Unit will join an award winning not for profit medical center, at the forefront of healthcare innovation. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Telemetry Nurse Director will direct and oversee a team of experienced and intrinsically motivated managers, supervisors, charge nurses, and over 100 full time registered nurses in a 50 bed Telemetry Unit.The Nurse Director of Telemetry will also assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote the maximum growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy.The Nurse Director Medical Surgical and Telemetry -will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for the twenty-four (24) hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of Medical Surgical department in order to provide quality individualized patient care, to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric on the age continuum. -The Nurse Director Telemetry Services -will work in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, a region with an affordable housing market, excellent public school system, safe communities and numerous professional athletic teams.The Nurse Director of Telemetry will have the opportunity to work for a large and stable healthcare organization, with facilities throughout the region.
