OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Internal Medicine


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Evenings
- Occasional Short Saturdays, negotiable/flexible
- Limited On-Call Described Below


COMPENSATION:
- $190,000 to $220,000+ Annual Compensation
- Base Salary + Bonus Model

Dewey, Arizona


COMPANY PROFILE:
This physician-owned private practice has been serving patients in Arizona for more than 20 years and is currently seeking a provider in their Dewey office due to the retirement of their long-time physician. The Dewey location is a small rural health clinic staffed with 1 physician, 1 nurse practitioner, and support personnel.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will serve as a primary care provider focusing on, among other services:

- adult primary care
- geriatric primary care
- minor illnesses and injuries
- chronic disease management
- annual wellness visits

The patient base is 20% ages 18-40, 40% ages 40-65, and 40% geriatric.

The physician will see 20 to 25 patients per day.

Clinical assistants are available to room/prep patients and assist providers as needed.

The clinic uses an EHR.

There is a minor on-call component, but physicians are rarely contacted outside of work hours. The practice utilizes a phone triage service after hours and the Medical Directors are always available as back-ups for the triage service, should the primary physician not be available.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, relevant field
- providers who are not BC/BE will be considered on a case-by-case basis
