Terros Health is now accepting Students at our 51st Ave Health Center 1st Floor! As part of our commitment to the development of the next generation of Behavioral Health care providers we are actively looking for individuals currently enrolled in their Master's Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and other behavioral health specialties. Please answer all screening questions detailing your University/College, the program you are currently enrolled in, the semester with dates that you are seeking a learning opportunity for, and the required credentials of a qualified Supervisor/Preceptor and join us in our quest to inspire change for life Terros Health is a healthcare organization of caring people, guided by our core values of integrity, compassion and empowerment. Responsibilities



















Terros Health is now accepting Students, who are enrolled in their masters program. 51st Ave Health Center, 1st Floor. Location: 4616 N 51st Ave #108, Phoenix, AZ 85031 Hours: Flexible - Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional; the student-intern will perform tasks related to their specific area of study and the Intern learning Contract. In a highly professional healthcare setting provided by Terros Health; the student will be given an opportunity to apply, and continue to learn by practical application the principals, theory, and knowledge from their related course work. The intern will learn how to assess and write Individualized service plans for those determined to be SMI, provide individual and group counseling in clinic, learn the importance of coordination of care and outreach. Develop skills in CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and crisis counseling. Be able to successfully use group facilitation skills to run groups. Learn how to close clients based on time limits and progress. Learn about resources in the community, stages of change, ASAM and referrals basked on level of care needed. Upon completion of the program, the student will have learned:

  • Assessing clients
  • Writing individualized service plans
  • Providing individual counseling
  • Providing group counseling
  • Writing notes
  • Being available for walk in counseling appointments
  • Coordinating care with clinical team
  • Accepting referrals and outreach Intern will be able to demonstrate clinical skills to successfully move forward with academic and professional goals. We encourage you to apply to the Terros Health Student Program.



























    Qualifications



















    • Applicants will possess the following attributes: Ability to apply counseling skills they are learning in program, excellent listening skills, empathetic nature, open to feedback, open to trying new approaches
    • Applicant must be currently enrolled in a supervised field instruction class
    • Graduate level i.e. Social Work, Counseling.
    • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills are highly desired.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Completion of the pre-student/Intern/Practicum onboarding process as determined solely at the discretion of Terros Health, which may include a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen
    • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
