Job Description:
Summary
Follows physicians through his or her work day and charts patient
encounters in real-time using a medical office's Electronic Health
Records and existing templates.
Responsibilities
Chart patient encounters in real-time during office visits. Reviews
documentation to determine accuracy. Manage and sort medical
documents in the EMR. Generate referral letters for physicians.
Assist physician with e-Scribing. Assist with other office
functions as needed.
Qualifications
Education
Required: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: 1 year of college
Experience
Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology.
