a multi-sided platform for epilepsy patients and health care
providers to better manage the disease and shorten the time to
finding an optimal treatment. Epilepsy accounts for over $30B+ in
direct healthcare costs in the US annually, and there is tremendous
opportunity to improve the efficiencies of care delivery. With
funding already in place, this startup will disrupt this space by
driving transparent, data-driven epilepsy care, with the vision of
revamping epilepsy care management and delivery.
Nile Health of California PC is hiring multiple adult and pediatric
neurologists to provide consultation, evaluation, and monitoring of
patients via telemedicine to grow our virtual neurology clinic.

Position Summary-100% virtual epilepsy-specific care, no hospital
call! Once in lifetime opportunity to join growing virtual
neurology practice with established strategic partnerships and
qualified patients. --Responsibilities include conducting
telehealth appointments, ordering and reviewing labs, ordering
imaging, ongoing medication management, and making referrals for
advanced care-Become proficient in and teach
patients/parents/caregivers to use the proprietary Nile AI
management system-Develop and implement patient management plans,
record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of
care.-Prescribe medications and other pertinent treatments as
indicated-Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with
prescribed therapeutic regimes, normal growth and development,
family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health
maintenance.-Provide patients with information to make informed
decisions in their care.-Document patient encounters daily in the
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system with appropriate diagnosis
and treatment codes; and submit patient charges daily-Maintain
licensure and professional and technical knowledge by attending
continuing education programs and reviewing professional
publications.-Participate in Quality Assurance Program including
audits, peer review, patient satisfaction, protocol development and
in-servicing training.-Collaborate with clinical and operational
leadership and work as a team to optimize access to care, and
implement recommended clinical workflows that enhance efficiency
and effectiveness at maintaining standards of productivity, safety
and clinical quality as measured, reported and shared with all
providers from time to time -

Qualifications-M.D. board certified in Neurology and licensed to
practice in California-EEG and/or EMG (Clinical Neurophysiology,
Neuromuscular or Epilepsy) fellowship is preferred, but not
required for experienced candidates.-Dynamic candidates with strong
clinical competency; having an entrepreneurial/innovative spirit
encouraged but not required
