Job Description:

Adecco Group is currently assisting a local client recruiting for an Electronic Assembler job in the South Phoenix area.



This is a temporary opportunity. The Electronic Assembler has responsibilities for activities related to assembling & manufacturing. These activities usually involve reading and following work orders, interprets drawings and adheres to process requirements.

•Crimps wires connected to printed circuit boards; routes and connects wires to individual components leads, connectors with terminals, and/or contact; crimps wires to be inserted into pins in accordance with appropriate specifications and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.



•Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as, potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, mechanical assembly, component preparation and wire stripping, in accordance with workmanship standards (SOP 511 Series or appropriate specifications).



•Performs intermediate solder connections, such as, wire to wire, wire to connector, wire to PWA, and wire to component (i.e., EMI filters, inductors, etc.) in accordance with appropriate solder specifications (IPC-A-610 or relevant specifications). Include tinning of wires and components in the solder pot to meet solder requirements.



•Performs self-inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.



•Maintains a clean and orderly work station in accordance with SOP-125 (FOD).



•Ability to recognize hardware in accordance with IPC-A-610 or relevant specifications.



•Completes usage logs as required.



•Demonstrates proper techniques for crimping, torque requirements and hardware installation.



•Ability to utilize hand tools and automated tools in the completion of required tasks.



•Performs soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610 or relevant specification, which includes thru-hole component soldering on PWAs.



•Demonstrates proficiency in the use of automated equipment (fixture usage and tool setup).



•Performs component preparation and placement taking into consideration polarization, orientation, and dimensional requirements in accordance with IPC-A-610 or relevant specification.



•Performs potting operations that include: encapsulation, lens bonding, light stack assembly, and vacuum pump, automated dispensing equipment, etc.



•Ability to perform inspections on Operator I work to verify compliance to production specifications and standards.



•May train other Operators in the above skills.



•Provides total quality assurance by demonstrating a constant focus on ensuring customers receive high quality products; adheres to all applicable standard operating procedures; pays attention to detail, shows professional concern for quality of work; performs with accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness in performing work assignments; has the authority to initiate non-conformance, preventive action and corrective action reports.



•Successfully completes all required training and certifications.



•Abides by company safety rules; maintains a safe workplace; keeps work area organized and clean in accordance with “5S” lean manufacturing techniques; wears all personal protective equipment as required; disposes of waste material in accordance with company policy.



•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others? views; contributes to building a positive team spirit.



•Communicates environmental concerns to supervisor or staff manager, participates in scheduled training classes, complies with the guidance or approved procedures provided to them, and provides feedback to improve the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System.



•IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 Solder Certification and/or any job related certification required by the Company and/or customer



Basic Qualifications Experience/Qualifications:



•Ideal candidate will have IPC-610 certification, or had it in the past.



•Must have previous electronic experience.



•Able to reads and follow work orders, interpret drawings and adhere to process requirements.
