Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesIT Senior Director - Business Partner As the Senior Director level IT Business Partner supporting Engineering and Global Program Management Office (GPMO), you will be the senior IT leader and face of Honeywell IT.-- --You will be responsible from all aspects of IT for these functions including strategy, project definition, implementation, and support.-- You will partner closely with corporate shared services IT teams on strategy, project implementation, and support. Your direct reports are subject matter experts on Aerospace Technologies processes and tools, and you will coach and mentor them to help their grow and to set and meet their individual goals.-- Dozens of other employees and contractors will work on your portfolio of projects and will be indirectly accountable to you. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ------------------ Develop and implement Aerospace solution roadmaps in collaboration with corporate and Aerospace teams ------------------ Collaborate with Aerospace management and enterprise IT to develop annual budgets for respective business areas ------------------ Develop solution concepts and Business Cases for new investments ------------------ Oversee business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans ------------------ Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations to senior management ------------------ Act as the key liaison across functional areas, including business units and information technology ------------------ Create shared vision of their respective solutions and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different solution platforms.-- Drive adoption of Honeywell standard IT solutions called the "Global Design Model" wherever possible.-- Highlight Aerospace gaps and drive to a solution that works for Aerospace. ------------------ Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and for managing product phase-in/phase-out plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio ------------------ Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and retirement ------------------ Oversee the launch of solution and maximize the positive impact on the organization-ensure benefits realization ------------------ Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet internal and external needs ------------------ Partner with key staff members to contribute to strategic business plans ------------------ Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources ------------------ Develop, train, and manage the IT professionals on your teamYou Must Have: ------------------ 10+ years experience in IT, Engineering, or related functions combined ------------------ Project or portfolio management experience We Value ------------------ Bachelor's or master's degree in any business or engineering course of study including Information Technology or related field ------------------ Certifications related to Agile, Project Management Professional (PMI PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma ------------------ Curiosity and a learning orientation ------------------ Acting like an owner and a relentless drive to help Honeywell Aerospace improve ------------------ Excellent leadership communication and executive presence ------------------ Understanding of key information technology solutions and practices ------------------ Strong business acumen and ability to translate new technology into business value ------------------ Financial acumen to understand the components of a business case and ROI ------------------ Creation of result-oriented Management Operating System ------------------ Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems ------------------ Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability ------------------ Driving "fast and right" results in a matrixed environment ------------------ Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexityAdditional Information
