MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:Implement, maintain and enhance the Quality AssuranceConduct internal and external customer/supplierManage Prime Contractor, Nadcap or other third-partyManage the Nonconforming Material process and perform dataManage the Corrective and Preventive Action process and perform dataReview contracts, purchase orders, job travelers and workAnswer customer questions, provide records, and document customerManage the approval of suppliers, procurement of quality items andManage the personnel qualification and certification process, maintaining records, working with NDT Level IIIContribute to the implementation of new procedures within theEnsure changes to the Quality Assurance Program are documented by either revising the affected documents or reviewing the revisedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Quality related experience. Exposure to metal finishing processes, NDT, aerospace prime contractors, and Nadcap is beneficial.Superior written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsGroup facilitation skillsThe ability to solve problemsAbility to work with minimal supervisionThe successful candidate must be able to deal with diverse work groups and work overtime asESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.MISTRAS strives to provide a positive work environment that values excellence in safety and quality, free from discrimination and harassment.
