About the Role: We are looking for a Talent Management Leader to develop and manage key approaches, programs and projects ensuring retention of key talent in Gore Medical. Initiatives will focus on talent pipeline, performance and goal management, as well as leadership development programs aligned to strategic business objectives. This position leads a team tasked with building and maintaining leadership competency to develop critical succession plans, talent development of diverse and high potential associates, and performance management across the Gore Medical Operating Company.

This position will be located at a facility in either Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of the talent pipelining process (calibration, succession, diverse and high potential talent development, etc.) that is required to achieve business goals
  • Work closely with HR Analytics to collect and coordinate aggregate data for the leadership talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels
  • Assess and evaluate talent, identifying and addressing solutions for skill and development gaps
  • Lead a team of Talent Management Specialists focused on execution and delivery of key talent management initiatives; provide performance feedback and coaching to grow and develop the capabilities of team members
  • Facilitate the continued adoption and standardization of the performance management process (P&D), ensuring the continued integration with Gore's contribution and compensation process (C&C) and other critical talent processes
  • Collaborate with L&D in the design and implementation of leadership development strategies, tools and resources, including the development of a standardized, competency-based leadership development framework
  • Enable cross-organizational talent movement by partnering with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition in identifying potential leaders for critical, open roles across Gore Medical that will advance the capabilities of the talent pipeline
  • Propose approaches, ideas and business insight to HR leadership and business partners to increase the effectiveness, reach and visibility of career programs and help the organization respond to career and talent-related opportunities and demands
  • Stay informed of best practices and trends to ensure that Gore's activities benefit from a continuous improvement mindset
  • Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and acts immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior

    Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience including talent management, leadership and executive development and performance management
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
    • Deep knowledge of the talent management life cycle, including processes and programs in talent acquisition, competency modeling, performance management, career development & mobility, succession planning, and leadership development
    • Experience designing, developing, and sustaining organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning and data analytics
    • Experience in the selection, implementation and use of an LMS/LXP &/or talent module in conjunction with a fully integrated HRIS
    • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
    • Ability to travel up to 15%
      To minimize disruption to the business, while supporting growth and development, Associates are expected to fulfill a minimum of 2 years in commitment before applying to another internal commitment. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved.

      Hybrid Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's hybrid working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
