Local Unit & Position DescriptionDNV's Healthcare Division is
seeking to fill the role of Healthcare Certifications - Program
ManagerThis position is preferred to be based out of DNV offices in
Houston, Austin Cincinnati, Medford, Phoenix, Dallas, New Jersay,
Detroit, Miami, Columbus, with flexible work arrangement
(home/office) and 30% required travel.What You'll Do
- Provide program management support for DNV Healthcare
Certifications
- Management of program staff and their development (e.g., MIP,
PIP)
- Maximize productivity and utilization of direct reports
- Collaborate with our customers to cultivate and drive positive
quality and financial outcomes
- Build strategies to achieve program goals, increase customer
satisfaction and administrative efficiency
- Travel as necessary to support program growth
- Support and promote relationships with industry partners
- Perform periodic environmental scans of current industry
practice and evidence to support and promote the program's
growth
- Bi-Annual review and revision of assigned program certification
requirements and supporting documents as necessary
- Management of the program's budget
- Provide periodic reports on the status of program goals and
metrics to DNV Healthcare Leadership
- Facilitate the planning and delivery of communications (e.g.,
presentations, social media) and training (e.g., webinars,
conference presentations) to stakeholders (e.g., customers,
community organizations, DNV staff)
- Work independently and use sound judgment under fast-paced,
high-stress scenarios
- The surveying expectation for this position is up to 30%
- Participate in meetings and conferences as directed by DNV
management (e.g., internal and external)
- Technical Review (TR) to ensure quality survey reports;
corrective action plan review and approval, and, objective evidence
review and approval.
- Provide timely response to assigned client dropbox
questions
- Maintain proficiency in IT processes and tools (e.g.,
SharePoint, iCIMS, Power BI)
- Responsible for the timely approval and oversight of time and
expense reports
- Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the quality
requirements of the activities, the instructions of DNV Healthcare
Management, and the procedures governing the activity
- Inform DNV Healthcare Management if work cannot be performed
within the agreed timeframe or in accordance with agreed
requirements of financial guidelines
- Ensure that the independent nature of the survey and program is
not compromised at any time
- Ensure that management is notified immediately if serious
issues impact survey dynamics, DNV Healthcare Staff, or the overall
operation of DNVPosition QualificationsWhat is Required
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Nursing (Masters
preferred)
- Current licensure in the U.S. as a registered nurse
- 5+ years in the hospital environment
- Experience with glycemic management and infection control
required
- Ability to complete the ISO 9001 QMS Lead Auditor Training, and
the NIAHO - Surveyor Training Programs.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
- Ability to communicate well with a diverse audience and varying
environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites up to 30%
of the time.
- Valid Driver's license required -
- Willingness to adapt to flexible work hours.
- Ability to travel independently (e.g., manage luggage, travel
arrangements).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work well with all levels of staff and
management.
- Strong -conflict management and problem-solving skills,
excellent analytical skills, ability to maintain confidentiality
with sensitive matters, policies, and information.
- Ability to -prioritize and organize workload, adapt to
changes/demands, conduct research as needed, and accountable for
work product to ensure deadlines are achieved.
