Chemours is seeking a **Global Category Manager** to join our
growing **Procurement** team! This position will report directly to
the **Global Procurement Strategy Director TT/CS** at our
**Wilmington, DE** location.
The Procurement Team has an exciting opportunity for a Global
Category Manager. The successful candidate will develop and manage
the Chloralkali and Chlorinated Organics global category strategy
to deliver reliable, cost advantaged, and sustainable supply. They
will develop the best practices for contractual risk management,
strategic sourcing, and contract administration related to this
category.This role collaborates with the Global Procurement teams
and all the Chemours business units.
**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited
to, the following:**
+ Develop and implement procurement strategies for the chloralkali
and chlorinated organics category to maximize business performance.
This requires understanding the raw materials supply chains and the
supplier strategies. The successful candidate must be able to
collaborate cross-functionally to build the strategies and clearly
articulate them to senior business leadership.
+ Work with Chemours business teams to understand and analyze
business plans and requirements to align the 5-year category
strategy to maintain competitive business positions.
+ Negotiate procurement agreements that are consistent with the
category strategy and functional best practices.
+ Manage the category and align it with the supply chain/operation
initiatives to ensure reliability of supply and leverage market
position.
+ Provide market intelligence updates to business teams to inform
business plans and ensure the strategy is meeting business
objectives.
+ Develop a risk management plan for the category, short and long
term.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the supply chain is driving
to meet Chemours sustainability goals.
**The following is** **_required_** **for this role:**
+ Ten (10) years experience in Procurement, commercial, supply
chain or other related field. Bachelors degree in business, supply
chain, engineering, finance, or related field.
+ Proven track-record of strong performance, operating with a
strategic mindset, and delivering business results.
+ Experience managing contract negotiations with major
corporations, including negotiation strategy development &
planning
+ Business acumen creating, positioning, and negotiating commercial
arrangements delivering competitive advantage
+ Analysis and judgment assess market dynamics and competitive
costs to develop/implement strategy
+ Collaborates with global business teams, supply chain, and
operations sites, with ability to have courageous conversations
across all levels of an organization.
+ Skilled in managing supplier and/or business relationships
develop and maintain effective relationships, understand
supplier/customer direction and value, define potential common
ground, create options to align supplier offering with client
requirements
+ Drives results develop and implement savings projects,
proactively contribute to business quarterly results
+ Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus and
gain alignment within and outside of an organization.

Pay Range (in local currency):
$150,528.00 - $235,200.00

Annual Bonus Target:
