Summary The Manager Digital Transformation is responsible for
ideating and leading complex digital solutions for the Company.
Leads the digital solution process and guides development efforts
by providing an inspiring vision and a validated digital solution
strategy that clearly communicates the solutions value proposition,
target group, and business goals. Establishes an actionable digital
solution roadmap that details the strategy and states how the
solutions will deliver value and evolve over time. Develops, anchor
and advocate a digital transformation culture with all employees.
Provides governance and leadership on training in the areas of
digital solution development.Minimum Requirements BS/BA/MS in a
relevant business, information technology or digital related field
PLUS five (5) years of related transformational delivery experience
as typically obtained in one of the following areas: IT, business
or financial operations OR high school/GED and twelve (12) years of
applicable transformational delivery or related transformational
experience. Previous leadership experience required. Must have or
demonstrate the ability to execute on the following: Understand and
articulate APS enterprise and Business Unit objectives clearly
Understand and articulate how digitalization can be a key enabler
towards realizing APS strategic priorities such as reliability,
safety, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, revenue, cost
savings, cost avoidance, shareholder value etc. Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, or Qualifications: Proficient in learning new
technologies, methodologies and concepts. Demonstrated
communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer
service, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills and
demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and change
management efforts. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
simultaneously. Agile delivery experience is highly desirable. Some
knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and
standards impacting business unit areas. Proficient in PC
applications including advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel,
Access, PowerPoint, and Word. Major Accountabilities 1) Accountable
for the digital solution vision and strategy; including building
and maintaining roadmap and backlog prioritization. 2) Ensures the
right priority of work for digital solutions is being delivered and
maximizing the value a digital solution creates.3) Coordinates
digital solution development and delivery on a high level, ensuring
on time and within budget delivery.4) Communicates and collaborates
with key stakeholders and solution sponsors to ensure digital
solutions exceed customer expectations.5) Lead and oversee the
development of, and anchor and advocate, a digital transformation
work culture across the organization6) Lead and oversee the
development and implementation of ''best in class'' product
development program.7) Lead development and implementation of
policies and procedures that foster an effective Digital Solution
Development program.8) Staff, develop and motivate a high
performing team to deliver and execute digital solutions through
effective coaching, performance feedback, recognition, training and
the provision of development opportunities.9) Interface as
appropriate with other employees and leaders with subject matter
expertise that relates to or touches upon digital solution
development10) Manage department budget and invoice approvals.11)
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of new solution roll-out and
adaption12) Meet with and provide feedback to management and
appropriate Business Unit personnel on established frequency
concerning status of and significant issues related to digital
solutions13) Interface as appropriate with legal counsel,
regulatory agencies and management to address and resolve potential

Role:This position is not required to be performed at a specific
APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic
set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees
hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to
perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:
APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time
from an APS facility.Home based: The employee prefers to work most
of the time from his/her home.*Employees in Flex roles are required
to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role
types are subject to change based on business need.
