    This is not your typical insulated accounting role. We're looking for dynamic, ambitious professionals who are not only passionate about financial accuracy, but also building/nurturing teams and communicating what the numbers mean. At FRC, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Restaurant Operators, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Senior Leadership on a variety of projects and deliverables. In addition to the day-to-day, you will have a unique opportunity to put your thumbprint on the department; we're looking for a Manager who thrives on improving processes and creating efficiencies for their team.
    Responsibilities
    • Manages accounting staff which includes training, coaching, planning and monitoring adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Reviews general ledger, balance sheet and income statement. schedules, and required journal entries prepared by accounting staff for accuracy and completeness.
    • Ensures an accurate and timely completion of period end duties by the accounting staff.
    • Performs a wide variety of general accounting functions including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation.
    • Assists in the preparation and review of audit requests.
    • Participates in monthly financial reviews - identifying variances, implementing corrective actions.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department.
    • Maintains financial security by adhering to financial controls.
    • Assists management team with accounting and financial reporting projects as needed. Requirements
      • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
      • 5-9 years of experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area, preferably with supervisory experience
      • CPA preferred
      • Public Company and/or Public Auditing experience strongly preferred
      • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
      • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Self-starter, ability to work efficiently individually and collaboratively within a team environment
      • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and succinctly with all levels of management
