Description:
A Business Development Manager requires strong interpersonal and
communication skills. B2B sales, marketing prowess and strategic
analysis are important aspects of the position, along with
exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to assist in the
closing of new partnerships deals. This position will support the
growth of the company, and our partners' businesses, by driving the
execution of business development projects, developing robust
marketing plans and sales strategies, and ensuring tight
collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement strategies to increase B2B program
participation and enhance the performance of the partnership
Identify, prepare, and present sales and marketing plans and growth
programs to partners for participation, collaboration, and
execution
Developing partnership strategies focused on building referral
pipeline and revenue opportunities
Work with Marketing, Product, Operations, Sales, Legal and other
stakeholders to drive the creation and development of B2B and B2C
marketing collateral for external partners to close business deals,
increase partner participation, and ensure the continued
development of programs and partnerships
Nurture and expand existing business relationships to increase lead
generation and growth opportunities within account portfolio
Understand partners' current needs and future roadmap, prioritize
business opportunities, develop and execute account specific sales
strategies
Identify and recommend future opportunities using data to increase
participation and enhance program performance
Track performance and share reporting on progress, including
effectiveness of initiatives, successes and potential
opportunities, with internal stakeholders, business partners and
other third-party partners
Develop and drive new product introductions, product
differentiation and value proposition with the goal of onboarding
new business partners
Become an expert and remain proficient in ONE's technology,
products, programs, and services
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or
related studies
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales
or account management in a fast-paced company. Travel industry
experience a plus but not required.
Excellent commercial judgement and negotiation skills, being able
to analyze data and successfully communicate business proposals
Creative and solutions-oriented, to meet partner needs and achieve
company goals
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to develop strong
relationships with partners quickly and manage stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Proactive and positive get it done attitude
Adaptable to new technology, quick learner and energized by
change
Willingness to travel as needed
