Job Description:
Position Summary:The position provides field training to the
global Digital Science Commercial team. The successful candidate
provides strong sales training and supports the departments
initiatives, handles multiple projects simultaneously, and quickly
learns our products.How you will make an impact:
- Support Sales Training and Development in the implementation of
the overall global sales training strategy.
- Travel with EMEA/Americas commercial sales representatives in
the field.
- Deliver or assist in the delivery of formal instructor-led or
virtual trainings.
- Plan and forecast timelines for project goals and deliverables
and establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
- Stay current on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply
them into operations and activities.
- Improve training effectiveness by helping to develop new
approaches and techniques; making support readily available;
integrating support with routine job functions.
- Prepare sales representatives by assisting in facilitation of
onboarding and all phased training; developing individual coaching
plans; providing resources and assistance; scheduling and
fulfilling co-travel with sales representatives.
- Continuously refine training needs by traveling with sales
representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results
reports; conferring with sales managers.
- Develop individual results by maintaining policy and procedure
resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions;
developing outcome improvement resources and providing directed
follow-up and feedback to sales personnel and management
team.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales environment required.
Life science industry preferred
- Must be able to deliver training sessions confidently and
effectively (not just presentations) to both small and large
groups.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a proven track record of collaboration with multiple
stakeholders
- Ability to manage SOPs, training manuals, and reports.
- Need to have strong interpersonal skills, be able to think on
your feet, and be well organized and results focused.
- High proficiency in the use of Salesforce.com, Learning
Management Systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Project, and SharePoint).
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Solid planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Basic
project management skills required. Ability to prioritize, plan,
and manage time effectively.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic global
environment.
- Requires 50-75% global travel.Other Job Requirements:
