EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.The Associate Product Manager (Sr. Analyst) Privacy Capabilities will aid in defining and executing end to end privacy tooling supporting processes across American Express. We are looking for a candidate to drive the discovery, definition, and roll-out of privacy capabilities in a rapidly changing regulatory environment.Responsibilities

  • Alongside Product Managers, define and manage cross-program privacy tooling plans and roadmaps, and support external management and distribution of plans.
  • Assists in maintaining the product backlog and ensures user stories are aligned to underlying product outcomes
  • Support the Product Manager(s) to ensure in the identification of technical problems, and devise solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment
  • Has an interest in understanding or already knows agile standard methodologies for collaboration in a dynamic product development environment.
  • Support the implementation of the Privacy Capability vision and strategy in close partnership with business, operational excellence, privacy, and technology teams
  • Help monitor progress of strategic initiatives and defined KPIs with regular reporting and reviews
  • Act as a point of contact across stakeholders to provide ongoing product planning, operations guidance, and support
  • Partner to extract insights to enhance privacy tooling, including product diagnostic analysis, which will be used to drive the teams decision strategy and project requirements.QualificationsWe are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a strong interest or deep experience in the privacy landscape, and who can support the definition and execution of a technical roadmap and privacy program across multiple business units and markets.
    • 3 years of related work experience
    • Interest in product management and privacy subject matter
    • Strong technical acumen and/or Interest in Agile Practices
    • Knowledge of Amex proprietary technology, products, operations, and reporting tools
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent oral & communication skills, experience in presenting to a wide range of audiencesWe back our colleagues with the support they need to thrive, professionally and personally.
