Welcome to the Product Studio - the creative engine behind Advisory Board's expert presentations, workshops, and eLearning products. - As part of the Product Studio team, you will contribute to scaling the value of Advisory Board research by effectively translating our industry-leading health care insights into new and evolving products. Ultimately, the products you help build will enable Advisory Board to broaden and deepen our reach with clients and enhance our impact across the health care industry. - As -Director of the Product Studio, you will lead a creative, dynamic team of content designers responsible for the end-to-end process of translating our research and insights into presentations, workshops, and eLearning courses. - The ideal candidate will be an agile thinker who can pivot when product or market needs change, is excited by opportunities to lead product quality and innovation, and derives fulfillment from coaching and developing junior staff. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S., while having the option to work out of our Washington, D.C. office. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and final review/editing for a variety of written, graphic, and multimedia deliverables for our products, ranging from polished PowerPoint presentations, facilitation guides, and scripts to video production-ready storyboards and eLearning courses
  • Serve as ambassador of the Product Studio and the products we support, viewed as a trusted leader by our creative, technical, research, and product management partners
  • Manage a team of 4-5 content designers, specialists, and coordinators - providing frequent coaching and professional development opportunities and overseeing hiring and onboarding activities for the team
  • Manage the intake, scoping, and prioritization of new Product Studio projects, assigning team resources to projects in alignment with enterprise priorities and individual interests/development goals
  • Keep a pulse on market trends and advancements in user experience, instructional design, visual design, and learning theory to support continual improvement and innovation of end-products
  • Confidently navigate a highly matrixed work environment, building relationships and exercising influence with a broad range of stakeholders, including product development/management, research, delivery, creative services, and tech teams
  • Help lead the overall strategy and innovation of the Product Studio, recommending opportunities to further enhance the exceptional quality and creativity of the products we create
  • Design, test, and iterate on streamlined processes and scalable approaches to drive the efficiency of our work You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree---
    • 5+ years of relevant experience---
    • Experience with at least one of the following:---
      • Designing and building polished, executive-level presentations and/or workshops
      • Writing and/or developing eLearning or online training courses
      • Learner experience and/or instructional design background
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
      • Experience communicating effectively with senior executives---
      • Demonstrated project management skills, including management of prioritization, resources, scope, and timelines to meet customer and internal demands
      • Experience with people management
      • Knowledge of the health care landscape
