Job Description

Medable is growing rapidly to meet the surge in decentralized clinical trial (DCT) demand. As the No. 1 provider of DCT trial products, we believe health and access to clinical trials is a human right and participation should be easy. That's why we developed the leading technology platform to enable greater trial diversity and deliver drug therapies to market faster than ever before.

Our marketing team is highly creative, collaborative and passionate about what we do. We're looking for a Product Marketing Director to join our Product & Partner Marketing team to help lead the adoption of Medable's offerings. Working closely with product management, sales, and the leadership team, you will lead go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, development of sales/partner/customer enablement materials, and lead generation.

The ideal candidate is someone with B2B tech product marketing experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, eager to roll up their sleeves, and is passionate about the technology and life sciences space.

  • Provide marketing support to the sales team in researching prospects and generating and customizing collateral and presenting at customer meetings
  • Develop go-to-market plans for each launch including positioning, messaging, sales enablement materials, internal and external communication materials, promotional activities, and other deliverables, as appropriate
  • Be in market often so that you are at the pulse of customer needs and how our evolving offering needs to be shaped to meet those needs
  • Research and report competitor capabilities and initiatives
  • Collaborate with product teams to appropriate product roadmap and position and bring to market new capabilities
  • Conceive and create thought leadership and educational content to broaden the awareness and understanding of our product
  • Create customer personas which will serve as inspiration and guides for marketing initiatives
  • Initiate, manage, and optimize lead-gen activities including trade conferences, webcasts, email marketing, and SEM
  • Generate customer success case studies through customer interviews and metrics from the platform
  • Manage to an agreed schedule of deliverables and within agreed budgets.
    • 10+ years experience in a related marketing, product or consulting role, preferably at a B2B SaaS or Life Sciences company, emphasis on product and/or solution marketing
    • Knowledge and experience in the development, marketing and/or sales of Life Science and/or Clinical Trial enterprise software - especially hosted, web-based software
    • Experience organizing and pushing a program forward, identifying a clear path for all parties, and keeping the group on time and on goal.
    • Independent thinking, with experience in managing multiple complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
    • Deep analytical rigor with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications and actionable insights.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data, legal/business needs, industry trends, and technology landscape.
    • Ability to craft a communications strategy and narrative, and present clearly and compellingly to executive stakeholders.
    • Excellent writing and editorial skills and proven content creation experience
    • "Roll up your sleeves" attitude and a true team player with great communication skills.
    • Experience in designing and executing marketing and communications programs
      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Sciences or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience; Master's degree or MBA a plus
