Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Manage overall market objectives and effectively oversee Accounts Personnel, while focusing on increasing market and customer revenue and providing excellent customer service.

Manage the Regional Accounts personnel.
Coordinate with outside Sales reps on new business leads, on boarding new customers, establishing commitments with customers.
Oversee market objectives and trends and help with load prioritization, market balance and freight mix.
Coordinate with National Account Leadership and the General Management Team to provide proper freight mix and balance in the marketplace.
Work with General Managers on pricing new bids, new opportunities (projects) with existing customers, and assigning new account manager new awarded business.
Visits customers and terminals as necessary.
Assume temporary role of Account Manager during times of employee travel, absence, and vacation as needed.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

7+ years' experience in customer service, customer relations or sales required.
4+ years' leadership experience in customer service, customer relations or sales required.
Previous experience in transportation industry required.
Previous experience in transportation industry required.
Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Must be able to demonstrate solid judgment and discretion while creating solutions and provide problem resolution to complex issues/circumstances.
Must be able to lead, influence and motivate employees at all levels in a cross functional, diverse and changing environment.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal, decision making and analytical abilities with a creative approach to problem solving.
Must have strong decision making skills and able to negotiate effectively.
Must be experienced in preparing and delivering compelling arguments and presentations in a way that impacts and influences others and successfully builds coalitions for key initiatives.
