• In conjunction with role as Director of Nursing for assigned program, this position maintains overall responsibility for the Nursing product and delivery of quality/best practices of Nursing services within the Meadows Behavioral Healthcare system.
• Oversees the Nursing Staff Qualifications and provides professional supervision to Directors of Nursing and Nursing staff members when needed.
• Oversees the approval process of admissions to the program based on clinical admission criteria.
• Works with Nursing and Executive Directors on implementation of best practices across all agencies.
• Tracks and trends information obtained through performance improvement activities and uses information gained for quality improvement.
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all patients.
• Assists in formulating department operations while required compliance with all state, JC and company regulations, standards and policies.
• Oversight of the schedulers within the shared nursing department in Wickenburg with a focus on the pool nursing / med tech service personnel.
• Promotes the mission, vision and values of the organization.Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.Certification/Licenses:
    • Valid current RN licensure in the state of ArizonaExperience:
      • Minimum of five years experience in supervision / administration in a behavioral health setting.
      • Good understanding of Nursing Care best practices and assessment instruments, with ability to develop program and services according to the needs of the patient populations served.
      • Knowledge of State and accreditation requirements.
      • The ability to demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationships, and the application of sound administrative principles.We are a Drug Free Company.
